摘要：

Commercially available kits were tested for their ability to detect bacterial and fungal contamination in hydrocarbon fuel systems. The handling ease of the kits was evaluated and their sensitivity was compared with that of conventional methods. Most kits in laboratory and field studies compared well with laboratory methods and were sufficiently sensitive to determine contamination in shipboard fuel tanks.
