摘要：

The clinical and pathological findings in seventy tortoises (mostly Testudo graeca) are described. Diagnostic techniques used included microbiological, histopathological and parasitological examination, and both these and the clinical procedures are described and discussed. A variety of conditions was encountered; gastrointestinal helminthiasis and necrotic stomatitis were most common, but other diagnoses included hypovita‐minoses, constipation, abscesses and trauma. On no occasion was a Salmonella sp. isolated. © 1979 British Small Animal Veterinary Association
