SELF-CONSISTENT FIELD APPROXIMATION TO THE LINEAR RESPONSE FUNCTION FOR NUCLEAR DISSIPATION

摘要
The collision-less mechanism of dissipation of the collective energy of nuclear deformation into the internal degrees of freedom is investigated. The self-consistent Hartree-Fock and Hartree-Fock-Bogolyubov approximations at non-zero temperature are used for a determination of the linear response function of the finite Fermi system in an external time-dependent cranking field. The effects of the renormalization of the external field inside the nucleus due to the self-consistency condition are estimated for the friction coefficient and the relaxation time. The connection of the self-consistent linear response approximation with RPA is discussed for non-zero temperature. © 1979.
