摘要
In this paper, a pulsed field apparatus consisting of a copper-beryllium helical coil rigidly constrained radially and axially, a 120 kJ capacitor bank, and a magnetization measurement device, is described. With this apparatus magnetization curves up to 500 kOe are commonly obtained at all temperatures between 1.6 and 300 K. Special emphasis is given to the problems involved in the accuracy and the calibration of the magnetization device and experimental results on the critical fields of a few antiferromagnets are shown as examples. © 1968 The American Institute of Physics.
