摘要：

Herpes simplex virus was isolated from the anterior chamber of a white woman with bilateral severe panuveitis. This was her second episode of uveitis, the first being anterior and unilateral; both attacks appeared to be precipitated by childbirth. Acute and convalescent antibody titers showed a significant drop in titer against the virus with resolution of the process. The significance of these findings in light of earlier clinical and laboratory evidence is discussed. © 1969, American Medical Association. All rights reserved.
