摘要
Using temperature investigations of birefringence and spectral properties of (NH2(CH3)2)2MeCl4 (Me = Cu, Co, Zn, Mn, Cd) crystals the sequences of phase transitions were determined. It is found that the empirical Urbach rule is fulfilled practically in all phases of these crystals except in the temperature range 279.5 to 296 K in (NH2(CH3)2)2CuCl4 where the existence of an incommensurate structure may be expected.
