摘要：
The relationship between the processing of global and local properties is one of thecentral issues in visual information processing. The thought of feature analysis posits thatlocal properties are processed earlier than global properties. Navon, based on sub-jects ’faster responses to the large figures in compound stimuli and interference effect of thelarge figures over the small figures, put forward a global precedence hypothesis whichclaims that visual pattern processing proceeds from a more global level of structure to amore local level.
