摘要
解偶联蛋白(UCPs)可以驱散质子电化学梯度,使呼吸链和ATP的合成解偶联,从而影响产热和能量代谢。目前已发现5种不同的UCPs家族成员,组成它们的氨基酸序列具有不同程度的同源性。UCPs的表达受嘌呤核苷酸、去甲肾上腺素、甲状腺素、胰岛素、瘦素、过氧化物酶体增殖物激活受体等因素的调节。肥胖和2型糖尿病患者体内UCPs的表达下降,表明UCPs可能与这些疾病的发生发展相关,了解UCPs的生理作用及调控机制可为将来肥胖和2型糖尿病的治疗提供一种新的途径。
