西藏金矿资源分布规律、矿化类型及找矿方向

Four metallogenic provinces have been discriminated for the gold mineral resources in Xizang,southwestern China including the South Xizang metallogenic province,East Xizang metallogenic province,North Xizang metallogenic province and Gangdise metallogenic province.The mineralization types and ore controlling factors in individual metallogenic provinces are discussed with the emphasis on the ore controlling processes of the faults and rifts and volcanic magmatic activity on the formation of the gold deposits,especially the impacts of the geomorphological features caused by the rapid uplifting of the plateau from the Tertiary onwards and the Quaternary geological features on the formation of the gold deposits.In addition,the target areas for the prospecting and exploration of the gold deposits in Xizang have also been delineated in the present study.
