摘要:
The status of wind as a renewable energy source and its power system integration issues are discussed. The working of a typical wind turbine including the various types of generating systems is described. The system-wide impacts of wind power on power system dynamics and stability, reactive power and voltage control, and load following/dispatch of conventional units are also discussed.
