摘要:
Simple models of evolution of social networks were proposed. These models were based on meetings that took place between pairs of individuals at a rate that was high if a pair had one or more mutual friends. Acquaintances between pairs of individuals who rarely met decayed over time and there was an upper limit on the number of friendships an individual can maintain. Computer simulations indicated that individuals had more links to others within their community than to individuals from other communities.
