摘要:
The effects of imperfect photon detectors suffering from noise and loss on the reliability of linear optical quantum computers (LOQC) was presented. The discussion also performed simulations of some small logic gates and estimated the efficiency and noise level required for the LOQC to function properly. The results showed that for a given detector efficiency, there is a maximum achievable success probability.
