摘要：
Though the comparison with some other fibers, some mechanical and physical properties of banana fiber, constituent of banana fiber have been studied in this paper. For improving some characteristics of banana fiber, the chemical treatments were used to modify the fiber. The results show that the coarse and brittle banana fiber, will be difficult to process in the traditional spinning system.
