摘要
The development of fuel cells as an alternative future solution to meet energy needs was discussed. Five basic types of fuel cell technologies based on the electrolyte employed were reviewed along with their characteristics. Electrochemical reactions occurring in the fuel cells and development of a non-hydrogen based regenerative fuel cell for large-scale power delivery was discussed.
