The excitation of the nonlinear coherent modes was studied using resonance pumping techniques. The sufficient and necessary conditions for the feasibility of the process were found. The temporal behavior of fractional populations and of relative phases exhibited dynamic critical phenomena on a critical line of the parametric manifold. A generalization of resonant effects in optics was suggested to nonlinear systems of Bose-condensed atoms.
