摘要
A well-designed superconducting generator can represent a beautiful optimization between competing and often conflicting electrical, economic, thermal, reliability, and mechanical requirements. This report is intended to provide better perception of the technological potential of new developments. The nature of superconductivity is described with both its promise and limitations.
