The gyromagnetic factor of an electron in hydrogenlike ions was analyzed using binding corrections. The gyromagnetic or Lande factor, was calculated with a very high precision for an electron bound in a ground state of a hydrogen like ion. The quantum electrodynamics (QED) theory and spectroscopic methods were used to carry out precise experiments with hydrogenlike ions in a wide range of nuclear charges.
