The double photoionization of doubly exited helium was studied using R-matrix-Floquet technique combined with B-spline basis sets. The results agreed with existing theoretical and experimental results for double photoionization of the ground state of He within 5% above a photon energy of 4.2 a.u. The R-matrix-Floquet approach was also applied to study double photoionization of the autoionizing 2s21Sestate of He.
