摘要
A retrieval study was performed on four different implant designs. One Tubingen implant showed a thin white line along the interface. One blade-vent implant demonstrated an interfacial soft tissue reaction with inflammation. In analyses of six integral implants it was demonstrated that the hydroxyapatie coat had come loose at certain points along the interface. Four of five retrieved IMZ-implants came from the same patient. These IMZ-implants had been removed in spite of an undistrubed bone anchorage and demonstrated between 5 and 67% of the surface area in direct contact with bone.
