摘要
For large Tokamaks of reactor dimensions, and, in particular, for those operating with a divertor, the interaction of hydrogen ions and atoms at low energies is of significant importance as there is a high flux density of such species in the boundary layer with energies below the implantation threshold. Hydriding of zirconium under conditions of low-pressure plasma has been studied by means of in-situ thermogravimetry. With atomic hydrogen at energies below implantation threshold the steady-state pseudoequilibrium concentration of hydrogen exceeds the value expected from the equilibrium diagram by several orders of magnitude. For example, at 600 degree C and a total pressure of 0. 05 Torr the atomic ratio left bracket H right bracket : left bracket Zr right bracket equals 1. 94 is reached instead of the equilibrium value of 0. 03.
