摘要:
The authors anticipate that the 1980s will see a rapid growth in RF monitoring technology and its application, and they envisage systems which include RF monitoring at both the line (all 3 phases) and neutral connection of machines, as well as other locations such as near brushes and bearings. These systems would include spectrum analysis and identification of an incipient arcing or discharge source, as well as an estimate of its location so that repairs can be effected with a minimum of search time. As RF data are recorded and confidence gained, it is anticipated that machines will be routinely shut down at specific RF levels or trends so that repairs or preventive maintenance can be carried out.
