A method for interactive calibration of the sensors onboard the same platform was poposed together with an example of the calibration of the EOS-AM1(Earth Observation Systems-AM1)/ASTER(Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer) -TIR(Thermal Infrared Raiometer) with EOS-AM1/MOIS (Moderate Resolution of Imaging Spectrometer). The preliminary assessment of the interactive calibration accuracy with ASTER/TIR and MODIS indicates that error in this method is less than 1.46%.
