摘要
The problem of obtaining a negative differential resistance in the current-voltage characteristic of metal-barrier-metal-barrier-metal junctions is analyzed. The feasibility of using these to develop a tunable oscillator is examined. Calculations are made of the maximum lasing power and gain.
