摘要
A detailed comparison is made between instrusive and non-intrusive fiber optic transmission sensors, in which the transmission medium is a variable refractive index liquid. The comparison takes the form of computer-simulated results based on physical models which include reflection losses, and experimental results obtained for both the intrusive and non-intrusive configurations.
