摘要
The authors and others devised a coaxial thin film thermocouple model to establish a measuring method of instantaneous surface temperatures on combustion chamber walls. They introduced equations of different element methods to find the temperature distribution in such a model from the heat energy balance. The temperature distribution in the model was calculated when the heat transfer coefficient from combustion gas to the wall, and combustion gas temperature worked under steady and unsteady states. They succeeded in selecting the optimum material and size of thin film thermocouple to measure the temperature of a piston crown.
