默顿在科学社会学这一领域曾做出了诸多开创性和奠基性的贡献,其代表性著作《十七世纪的科学、技术与社会》和《科学社会学》被引上千次,具有很大的影响力,为其后的科学社会学研究提供了可靠的研究基础。本文主要采用文献计量学和信息可视化的分析方法,选取了默顿在科学社会学领域的五个代表性著作或文献,通过图谱的方式分别展现默顿在科学社会学领域的学术贡献和影响。
