摘要：

引文上下文可用于识别引文的本质以及分析施引和被引文献间的关系。讨论了引文上下文研究的兴起及其在文献内容分析中的应用价值和意义;梳理了相关研究方向,主要包括引文上下文的数据处理、引证动机分类、自动生成目标文献摘要、扩展标引用词以改善检索效果等;提出了相关研究中在引文上下文的识别与提取、范围标准确定、文本分词等标准和方法上的关键性问题;总结了相关研究的进展状况和存在的问题,并对未来发展进行了展望。
