摘要：
The development of network medium has brought informal communication an opportunity to revive.The paper points out that the function of informal communication has been severely underestimated in the times when the paper based medium dominates over scientific communication.It emphasizes that network medium possesses some features which are in favor of the revival of informal communication.The development of network medium will accelerate the revival of informal communication.
