现代汉语重动句的分类

The author demonstrates that sentences in which verb copying occurs fall into two major categories: causative and non-causative. This categorization is important for it facilitates our explanation more accurately of some phenomena in Chinese grammar, for example, it is the general view that this kind of sentences can turn into the Ba-sentence or the sentence with S-P phrase as predicate. But the author finds that this only holds true to the sentence of the latter category, not the former.
