略论形声字声旁与对外汉字教学

This paper re examines the existing conception and thought on the possibility of ways of phonetic acquisition after pointing out the tendency of putting on more emphasis on the meaning side than the sound components of characters in teaching. Based on the observation and analysis of the commonness of characters which can be used as sound components and pictophonetic characters and making use of such characters, it suggests ways to help the learner acquire the recognition of characters phonetically.
