摘要：

澳大利亚是多元文化图书馆最早兴起的国家之一。澳大利亚各级公共图书馆都制定了相应的服务政策,指导多元文化服务发展,以适应不断变化的多元文化社区的需求与信息时代的新趋势。在其馆藏文献建设与拓展活动乃至宣传推广工作中都能贯彻多元文化理念,收到良好成效,对我国公共图书馆多元文化服务具有一定的借鉴意义。
