介绍了NB-IoT的产生背景以及物联网通信技术的分类,并介绍了3GPP相关标准发展过程、最新状态及计划冻结的时间;同时对NB-IoT的特性进行了介绍和分析,包括增强覆盖能力、低复杂度、低功耗、时延低敏感、移动性等;最后基于NB-IoT的特性,探讨了基于NB-IoT的不同物联网业务类型,并介绍了NB-IoT的业界发展情况。
