近几年来,随着世界自由贸易进一步的深化,产业内贸易的理论又再次引起人们的注意,关注的焦点主要在于产业内贸易的动态衡量以及其与贸易自由化所伴随的调整成本之间的关系问题。许多经济学家认为,产业内贸易的发展使得生产要素在同一部门内部自由流动,因而会引致较低的调整成本,即所谓的“平滑调整假说”。然而,随着垂直专业化的全球生产网络的形成,垂直型产业内贸易成为国家贸易的主要形式,该假说的正确性也不断地遭受到人们的质疑和挑战。
