Sex segregation in occupations and industries is an important problem in contemporary society. It represents the gender inequality in the labor market or the position of women in economy and society. In this paper, we analyze the state and causes of sex segregation in the employment in Shandong Province. We emphasize the social structural factors that cause sex segregation.
