One-dimensional ZnO nanorods and shuttle-like ZnO nanoparticles have been successfully achieved by ultrasonic irradiation of Zn(CH3COO)2 aqueous solution and Zn-NH3 complexes solution. The obtained ZnO nanoparticles have been characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and selected area electronic diffraction (SAED). And the formative mechanism of the prepared different morphological ZnO nanoparticles is also discussed under ultrasonic irradiation.
