摘要：

进入新世纪以来,全球城市空间剧烈重构,大城市密集区迅速扩张,在社会、经济、政治和城市环境等各维度均呈现一体化趋势,长期存在的各种地理和空间分割(如城乡二元、南北半球分化、社会自然分割)均面临解体和重构。在此背景下,近期西方城市研究尤其是所谓批判城市研究中出现对"星球城市化"现象的热切关注,探索城市理论本身的转型与重构。本文系统解析相关理论的新动向,通过梳理"星球城市化"研究的最新进展,评述和解析当前"星球城市化"的形势、理论及其发展脉络,并结合当前中国城镇化建设实践进行讨论,展望未来中国城市研究,以此为中国当代城市建设的理论与实践提供参考和借鉴。
