摘要
Calculation and comparison between classical strain tensor and Stokes-Chen's decomposition thorem on geotechnical problems such as constant-curvature landslide and bolt shear large deformation are made.And the results show that the classical tbeory is approximate in large deformation, and the new theory can overcome the limitation of classical strain definition.
