<正>当前,全球化使城市研究领域的学生面临两个难题。第一,它更加强调经济联系,排斥了可能涉及的其它因素,例如社会、文化和政治,第二,它模糊了全球化经济联系对国家、地区和城市的真正影响,包括对普通民众日常生活的影响。全球化经济联系,即曼纽尔·卡斯特(ManuelCastells)所谓的“流的空间”(spaceofflows),最终必然落实到地面上的“场所空间”(spaceofplaces),并且它们一旦落实到地面,就会以各种方式对城市日
