通过在济南古城的实验性设计研究,从理论和实践两个方面探讨了如何在城市快速发展的形势下营造城市特色和生活空间的重大课题,指出城市肌理的延续、新的城市建筑类型的探索、富有特色的城市场所的建设应成为城市建设工作的原则。
