Knowledge City,as a new concept of strategy of the city development in the twenty first century,which took its rise both in the United States and Europe in the 80-90s of last century,has been recognized by the world.Since then,a large number of successful knowledge cities have come into being in the world.This new strategy has found a new path for the development of the future global cities.In the course of China urbanization at present,the fully-understanding of its background,its connotation,its development situation,characteristics and the original city which can be grown into Knowledge City Strategy by taking different action,will be of great help to broadening our vision and bringing the construction of China urbanization into the global perspective so as to avoid the old path taken by the West,by taking the knowledge-based industry cluster as pioneer and innovation as great power,to promote the transformation of our city,to set up the new route of system of urbanization with China characteristics and win the initiative power of the sustainable development of the future with the knowledge-based industries as the forerunner.
