摘要：

现代化理论兴起于上世纪50年代。作为主流发展理论之一,早期的现代化理论机械地遵循着"传统/现代"的二分法原则,且僵化地坚持西化的发展思路,致使其逐渐难以跟上世界发展的潮流,并于上世纪70年代遭到了全面的理论批判。随后,现代化理论进行了一系列自我反思与修正,因而重获解释力并具有了良好的适应性。
