摘要：

馆藏评估是对图书馆馆藏资源的整体状况及其功用进行分析与评价,为图书馆的馆藏建设和发展提供指导。近年来,随着图书馆馆藏总量和文献类型的不断增多,馆藏建设面临着新的内容,要协调好各种资源的关系,合理地收藏和利用各种文献资源,科学地对图书馆馆藏进行评估是必不可少的。本文主要总结了近年国外关于馆藏评估的一些理论研究成果,希望能为我国的图书馆馆藏建设提供一些指导作用。
