摘要
在保证奶牛的健康、福利、高产和高效方面,饲养管理具有与饲料营养同等的重要性。良好的饲养管理方法可以使奶牛健康、高产、高效和长寿,这些方法包括奶牛每天"少吃多餐"("吃"指采食的量,"餐"指采食的次数),减少奶牛挑食,奶牛挤奶后保持站立状态,保证奶牛全天都能方便地采食日粮等。另外,奶牛能轻松饮用到清洁、可口的饮水也同样重要。挤奶后快速投料、勤推料和提供足够的饲槽采食空间,有利于奶牛的采食活动。本文阐述了饲养管理对奶牛行为、健康和生产性能的影响方面的研究成果,重点突出奶牛行为的重要性,包括奶牛采食方式、采食时间及采食日粮类型。另外,本文阐述了如何利用这些研究结论来对圈舍条件和饲养管理方法进行评价,并利用经验证据说明如何以适当的时间和频率保证奶牛采食饲料的便利性,从而保证奶牛的营养需要、自然的采食行为和健康的采食习惯。
