元数据的研究

Metadata describe the content and the location of information resources,which is beneficial to the location and management of information and helpful to the retrieval of data.As for the various formats of metadata in different fields,we have to solve the problem of their interoperability to facilitate the unified organization of information resources and good circulation of information.We should also study and remedy the shortcomings of the individual metadata format so as to suit the need of the constant development of Internet information resources.
