摘要
Arabidopsis thaliana mutants insensitive to brassinolide (BR) were isolatedby screening for growth of seedling ona medium containing epi-BR 0. 05 mg/L. The mutant phenotypically changedin the morphology of roots and leaves(Fig. 2 ). Genetic analysis of thesemutants indicated that the BR insensitivity was due to a recessive mutation,which was designated as br. In addition,studies on the effects of epi-BR onthe growth of leaves of mutunt progenies and pH change of the bathingmedium by using leaf discs showed thatleaves of the mutunt were as insensitiveto epi-BR as roots.
