摘要：

边缘计算是一种前瞻性的新兴计算范式,将对城市化进程中的我国经济社会发展产生深刻影响,带来巨大变革。本文从边缘计算的基本概念入手,探求技术应用背后的系统本质属性,展望边缘计算重点应用领域和发展趋势。边缘计算能够为智慧城市建设提供高效的网络计算体系架构,构建网络、计算、存储、应用核心能力为一体的边缘开放平台,提供高效低时延的近端用户服务。面对随之而来的机遇和挑战,提出边缘计算驱动智慧城市发展的建议,作出未来智慧城市蓝图的展望。
