The Third Way as Blair's doctrine's core and therectical foundation, is a phenomenon of Post-War British socio-historic environment, as a new readjustment and reform in post-war capitalist development. One of the most striking characteristcs of the New Labor is the call for broader-based social consensus irrespective of classes, calss politics and the division of traditional Left and Right. This is closed related to the social change of class strcuture and economic restructuring of United Kongdom since 1970s. The Third Way is of striking epoc characteristcs as it is put forward to accomodate to rapid expansion of economic globalization, with its political philosophy in pragmatism and eclecticism as its ideology. Blair's doctrine in fact absorbs different components of diffferent major schools of ideology in UK, and is also influenced by the current thoughts of US and other West countries
