本文将在社会学的阶级理论视角下,尝试探讨"新中产阶级"的"元问题",即:中产阶级问题最初是如何形成的?是如何成为社会科学研究需要面对的问题的?在本文看来,中产阶级不是一个收入群体的概念,而是基于传统阶级结构成长起来的"新"阶级。中产阶级走上历史舞台时人们关注的是它的社会-政治功能,而阶级理论也因"新中产阶级"的兴起而发生了重大改变。
