摘要：

次贷危机并不仅仅是经济危机,它同时包含众多法律问题。次贷危机的法律根源可以概括为三个方面:第一,次贷证券的担保机制存在重大缺陷;第二,次贷产品的扩展机制过于依赖存在利益冲突的评级机构;第三,在金融市场的作用扩大的条件下,政府的保护机制未能及时更新。
