试论图书馆从信息服务走向知识服务

Through explaining the conceptions of information,knowledge,information service and knowledge service,the paper expounds the features and the limitations of information service,inquires into the contents and models of knowledge service,and points out that the change from information service to knowledge service is the need of the users'requirement for information and it is the inevitable development trend of information society.
